Cameo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who knows how challenging it can be to get this far in seeking therapy, especially when looking for help as a youth or young adult! With over a decade of experience, she works with individuals 14-25 years old moving through the transitional ages that are often some of the most complex we will encounter. The “before times” were hard enough, but now we must collectively navigate zoom, isolation, imposter syndrome, and interpersonal relationships, all within the context of a pandemic, climate change and systemic racism. WHEW! That is a lot! Beyond this, Cameo knows what it is like to be queer and black in these contexts without adequate space to truly acknowledge and process the feelings and struggles that come with these identities. It took a long time for Cameo to find who she is, but she wants to assure you it doesn’t have to be that way for you. Let’s work together and walk through your journey using a social justice and trauma-informed lens, supporting your mental, emotional, and social development until you have the tools you need. There is no topic too sensitive, trivial, heavy, or “out there” for us to process together.
